Job Summary:

This role will maintain and manage the communications projects for client specific enrollments, broader based education campaigns, review and refresh materials regularly, and be the central point of contact for managing and updating client brochures. This role will include project managing communication plans and enrollments for our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • 2 - 5 years of experience as a communications or marketing specialist in the life insurance or benefits industry
  • 1-2 years of experience with life insurance products and/or servicing
  • Experience in creating marketing materials collateral - presentations, brochures and/or one-pagers
  • Project Management Experience
  • Ability to work in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce, and project management software

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Maintain brochure and communication templates and client specific materials based by plan design
  • Draft training presentations, email campaigns, and leveraging these across clients to provide a top-tier education plan for plan participants
  • Thought leader in creating and providing educational content and plan materials to participants. This includes refreshing materials based on communication and marketing trends, applying changes to materials based on client feedback, and generally looking for new and better ways to connect with our participants.
  • Reviewing and refreshing client and participant deliverables and helping to evolve our client and participant online portal and dashboard concepts.
  • Project Management
  • Manage projects involving different types of stakeholders and being able to facilitate project communication to achieve project goals in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage client communication plans and internal project plans to build our communications infrastructure.
  • Implementation Manager - new client onboarding for Plan Management (ensuring all systems are updated, legal forms completed, client kick off calls happen once plan is approved, and all other aspects successfully launching a new plan through Plan Management
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

  • 2 - 5 years of experience as a communications or marketing specialist in the life insurance or benefits industry
  • 1-2 years of experience with life insurance products and/or servicing
