Job Profile : Data Modeler

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in FRY 14 reporting , particularly within Mortgage / Retail Credit Risk domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data models that support regulatory reporting, risk analytics, and data governance initiatives. This role requires deep understanding of FRY 14 schedules , mortgage data attributes, and the ability to work closely with business, risk, regulatory, and technology teams.

Cloud & Data Platforms - Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer
Databases & Warehousing - Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, BigQuery, Hive
Data Management - Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, or related field .
• Experience in data modeling, data analysis, or data architecture .
• Strong experience with FRY 14 reporting and knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks in the banking industry.
• Hands-on experience with Mortgage data , including loan origination, servicing, collateral, delinquency, modification, foreclosure, and performance data.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
• Experience creating logical and physical data models using tools such as ERwin, Er/Studio, Visio, or similar .
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data warehouses and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, or Hadoop-based platforms .
• Experience with source-to-target mapping , data lineage, and data quality controls.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical data solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
