At SPOC our occupational therapist assistants provide integrated, state-of-the-art therapy care and rehabilitation to our patients. As a part of our team, you will have immediate access to referral sources, patient records, imaging studies, and more, allowing for optimal patient care and recovery.

Compensation:

• $35.00 to $42.00 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Knowledge and understanding of all clinic policies/procedures, culture, and organizational structure.
• Ability to demonstrate superior clinical outcomes, patient customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Must have the ability to be mentored and receptive to training processes.
• Conveys a professional image and attitude.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.
• Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.
• Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Strong customer service.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in occupational therapy or physical therapy assistant as evidenced by college diploma.
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state employed.
• Open to active/pending state board licensures and those sitting for their board exam in the next six months.

This position requires a background check upon acceptance.
