Houseman / Groundskeeper – UHNW Private Estate

Location: Palm Beach, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexibility Required (Weekends/Events)

Compensation: $90-100K + Bonus + Benefits (DOE)

Overview

A UHNW family in Palm Beach is seeking a hands-on Houseman / Groundskeeper to support the day-to-day exterior and light interior operations of a luxury estate. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining pristine outdoor spaces and ensuring the property is always guest-ready.

The position will focus heavily on outdoor maintenance , including grounds, pool, and recreational areas, while also assisting with general household support as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced working in high-end private homes.

This role requires the ability to travel to New York as needed to support additional properties.

Key Responsibilities

Outdoor & Property Maintenance

• Maintain all grounds, landscaping, and exterior areas to the highest standard
• Oversee care and cleanliness of tennis courts, pool, patios, and outdoor living spaces
• Perform routine inspections to ensure the property is always immaculate and guest-ready
• Coordinate with landscapers, pool vendors, and contractors as needed
• Assist with light repairs and general upkeep of exterior systems

General Houseman Duties

• Support the household with daily operational needs
• Assist with event setup/breakdown for outdoor entertaining
• Handle deliveries, errands, and property-related tasks
• Maintain outdoor equipment and storage areas

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a private home, estate, or luxury hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of groundskeeping, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance
• Experience maintaining pools, tennis courts, or similar recreational amenities preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability and willingness to travel to New York as needed
• Highly reliable, hands-on, and proactive
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Discreet, professional, and comfortable in a UHNW environment

About the Role:

A high-profile family is seeking a polished, service-oriented Housekeeper/Server to join their year-round household team in Palm Beach, FL. This role supports both daily household operations and elevated service needs, with a strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

During the summer months, the position transitions with the family to the Hamptons, where the employee will live in the staff house and continue providing service and support throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the chef with serving meals, kitchen cleanup, and general support

Handle grocery shopping and help maintain household inventory

Interact comfortably and professionally with the family—strong communication skills required

Perform housekeeping duties when needed, including cleaning, organization, and laundry support

Work collaboratively with other household staff to maintain a smooth, efficient environment

Schedule:

Wednesday through Sunday

Must be available for seasonal travel to the Hamptons (housing provided)
