Position OverviewEDS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance services on residential HVAC systems.
This role is responsible for maintaining system performance, identifying potential issues early, and ensuring systems operate efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HVAC knowledge or training who wants to build a long-term career in the industry , with a clear path to grow into a Service Technician role .
Responsibilities• Perform routine HVAC maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Inspect system components and identify potential issues
• Clean system components including coils, drain lines, and filters
• Test system performance and ensure proper operation
• Document service visits and maintenance findings
• Communicate professionally with homeowners during service visits
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work practices
Requirements• Basic HVAC knowledge or prior experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics or mechanical spaces
Preferred Qualifications• 1+ year HVAC experience or trade school training
• EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Interest in growing into a Service Technician role
