Job Description

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Junior Software Engineer. This role will support software development, application maintenance, and technical projects for a growing U.S.-based organization.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for candidates looking to start or grow their career in software engineering. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build, test, and maintain applications while learning best practices in coding, development workflows, and system design.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar
  • Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, APIs)
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
