Job Description:

The Ocean Import/Export Forwarder will oversee and manage the logistics of air imports, including shipment tracking, documentation, and client communication. This role is essential for coordinating the end-to-end process of ocean import shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while meeting all compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and trace shipments using Cargowise software
• Coordinate with clients, international colleagues, and various vendors, such as airlines, warehouses, and trucking companies
• Manage billing processes and audit vendor invoices
• Organize delivery of air imports and process necessary documentation
• Approve freight invoices and credit notes in alignment with agreements
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations and develop a strong understanding of client agreements

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years in freight forwarding; experience in ocean import/export logistics is highly preferred
• Education: Open to various educational backgrounds
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Software: 1+ years of experience with Cargowise is highly preferred
• Languages: Fluency in English
