Pharmacist

Location: 6330 E 75th St #322, Indianapolis, IN 46250-2708

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 12:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Hours per Day: 8

Hours per Week: 40

Weekly Pay Package

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,487.36

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,520.00

Weekly Gross $3,007.36

Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over‑usage patterns.
• Ensure prescribed medicines are suitable and supplied within legal requirements.
• Accurately maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients on medication usage, potential reactions, and answer related questions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non‑prescription medications regarding storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Deliver patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).
• Compound medications for internal and external use; prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify drug‑related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interns, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
• Active license from the State Pharmacy Board.
