Job Description

Are you a mature, experienced and Professional Dog Trainer looking to take your skills to the next level? Our established dog training business in Southern New Jersey, Pampered Pet Sitting and Dog Training, is seeking a dedicated Professional Dog Trainer to join our team and work directly alongside SUE BATTEL, one of the areas most respected positive dog behavior specialists. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with and learn from Sue Battel, applying her proven and effective training methodology. The ideal candidate is passionate about canine behavior, professional in demeanor and committed to compassionate, humane based training practices. We are a well-established, professional dog training business seeking dedicated and mature individuals who love dogs to join our team. We are looking to add to our dog training team with trainer/s who are like-minded with Sue Battel's positive training techniques to enhance her program. Requirements:

  • Professional Dog Training experience with a positive methodology
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in behavioral or obedience training with references
  • Reliable transportation and flexible schedule
  • Passion for working with dogs
  • Strong communication, client interaction skills and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and improve your skills
Dog Trainer Responsibilities:
  • Work a flexible schedule as needed based on client needs and your availability
  • Must have a smart phone to be able to utilize our scheduling software
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
