Contracts Manager – Outbound SaaS

Location: Remote, US

About the Opportunity

A high-growth, venture-backed technology company is seeking a Contracts Manager to join its legal team in a newly created role supporting the business’s commercial function. This position will work closely with Sales and other commercial stakeholders, negotiating domestic and international customer-facing SaaS agreements and providing practical, business-focused legal support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements and ancillary documents, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, and AI-related addenda.
• Support customer-facing, revenue-generating commercial transactions within the US and other international jurisdictions.
• Provide legal advice to stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, Enablement, and the wider business.
• Identify emerging legal and operational risks and provide risk-based recommendations
• Advise on early-stage customer and vendor disputes
• Assist with complex legal interpretations and commercial issues
• Drive legal automation and contracting efficiency initiatives
• Maintain contract databases and support legal record-keeping processes
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business
• Participate in training commercial colleagues on legal and contracting matters

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in contract review, legal operations, paralegal, or related legal roles
• Degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts within a B2B SaaS environment
• Experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial arrangements
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
• Experience building and driving processes through to completion
• Curious, proactive, and ownership-oriented approach to professional development
• Experience within RegTech or supporting companies selling into regulated industries is a plus

The role is fully remote within the U.S. and offers the opportunity to work on complex, highly negotiated commercial agreements while helping shape contracting processes and legal automation initiatives as the company continues to scale.
