Corporate Receptionist

Location: Irving, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $22/hr

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Corporate Receptionist to support daily office operations in Irving, TX. This role is fully onsite and serves as the front-facing point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors while ensuring the office runs efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Office Operations

  • Greet visitors and provide a professional, customer-focused experience
  • Answer and route high-volume incoming phone calls
  • Assist employees in person with general office needs
  • Coordinate conference rooms, meetings, and scheduling logistics
  • Manage lunch orders and catering coordination for meetings

Mail & Shipping Coordination

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail to onsite employees
  • Open and scan mail for remote employees
  • Prepare FedEx shipments and labels for outgoing packages
  • Process and distribute incoming FedEx deliveries

Administrative & Office Support

  • Assist with employee onboarding, including cubicle setup and badge support
  • Print and distribute training and onboarding materials
  • Support internal departments (servicing, training, and operations) as needed
  • Prepare expense reports and assist with basic reporting

Office Maintenance & Inventory (Weekly Duties)

  • Monitor and restock break stations, refrigerators, and office supplies
  • Ensure printers are stocked with paper and functioning properly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas

Additional Responsibilities

  • Purchase office supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist with travel coordination (flights, hotels, rental cars) as needed
  • Create presentations, reports, and correspondence for leadership
  • Support office staff productivity through coordination and task delegation

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration or reception
  • Prior office management or corporate front desk experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset
