Job Summary
A Manga Artist , also known as a Mangaka , creates Japanese-style comics (manga) that combine storytelling, character design, and sequential art. They may work independently or as part of a publishing team, producing black-and-white or full-color pages for serialized stories, graphic novels, webtoons, or adaptations into anime.
This role often involves both artistic execution and collaboration with editors, writers, and creative teams to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and a consistent style.
