Part-Time Legal Assistant

Boutique Litigation Law Firm – Boca Raton, FL

We are a boutique litigation law firm in Boca Raton seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Legal Assistant to support our attorneys with daily litigation and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with prior legal experience who thrives in a fast-paced, organized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain attorney calendars, court dates, and litigation deadlines
• File legal documents with state and federal courts and coordinate service of process
• Coordinate and schedule hearings with opposing counsel and the court
• Review incoming pleadings and ensure all deadlines are properly calendared
• Organize and maintain client files (electronic and physical)
• Prepare and organize exhibits and binders for hearings and trials
• Schedule court reporters for hearings and proceedings
• Assist with outgoing and incoming mail
• Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, copying, and filing

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary (litigation experience preferred)
• Familiarity with court filing procedures and litigation deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
• Professional communication skills and ability to work independently
