Senior HVAC Technician

Location : Reno, NV, United States

Pay : $40–$50/hr + Overtime + Health Care + 401k + Performance Bonus + Other

Schedule : Monday–Friday | Full-Time | On-site

We’re working with a growing HVAC manufacturing and services organization that is expanding its field operations and seeking an experienced senior level HVAC Technician / Chiller Engineer. This position offers long-term career growth with a focus on developing specialized expertise in chiller systems and mission-critical environments , including data centers . The role is hands-on, supporting commercial and industrial HVAC systems while prioritizing safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities.

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and chiller equipment
• Diagnose system issues using schematics, controls, and diagnostic tools
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service work
• Support HVAC systems in critical environments such as data centers
• Work directly with customers to ensure system performance and reliability
• Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately
• Assist with system upgrades, retrofits, and equipment modifications
• Perform welding and mechanical modifications as needed
• Travel to job sites using company-provided vehicles

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on chiller experience
• Exposure to data center or critical facility environments is highly desirable
• Welding experience related to HVAC systems
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working in high-reliability, on-site environments
